Unveiling the Kingdom of Wonder – A 10-Day Motorbike Expedition Across Cambodia

Embark on an extraordinary 10-day motorbike tour with Golden Trail Travel, designed to take you deep into the heart and soul of Cambodia. This meticulously crafted expedition, "Explore Cambodia by Motorbike Tour 10 Days," offers an unparalleled journey across a land rich in ancient history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking natural beauty. From the bustling streets of its capital to its serene southern coast, and through its majestic temples and charming rural landscapes, this tour is the ultimate way to discover the true essence of the "Kingdom of Wonder" on two wheels.

Your adventure begins in the captivating capital of Phnom Penh, a city that beautifully blends its poignant past with a dynamic present. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by our expert Golden Trail Travel guides and introduced to your powerful and well-maintained motorbike. After a thorough safety briefing, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the city's unique charm, perhaps exploring the historic Royal Palace or the poignant S21 Museum and Killing Fields, which offer profound insights into Cambodia's resilient spirit.

Leaving the urban energy behind, our journey takes us southward, transitioning into the tranquil and picturesque landscapes of rural Cambodia. We'll navigate a mix of well-maintained roads and thrilling dirt tracks, venturing through endless rice paddies, lush plantations, and charming villages where daily life unfolds at a gentle pace. This segment of the tour allows for authentic interactions with friendly locals, giving you a glimpse into traditional Cambodian livelihoods and the genuine warmth of its people.

A significant highlight of this expedition is the exploration of Cambodia's southern provinces, including the charming coastal towns of Kep and Kampot. You'll ride along scenic coastal roads, visit renowned pepper plantations, and perhaps even savor the famous Kampot crab. The journey also includes an ascent to Bokor Mountain National Park, where challenging yet rewarding trails lead to stunning panoramic views and the eerie, historically rich French hill station. The diverse terrain here, from winding coastal roads to challenging mountain paths, ensures an exhilarating riding experience.

As we continue our exploration, the routes become increasingly varied, taking us through less-traveled areas and offering a true sense of discovery. You'll encounter hidden waterfalls, pristine rivers, and perhaps even some of Cambodia's diverse wildlife. Our experienced guides, with their deep knowledge of the local terrain and culture, will lead you through routes that reveal the country's untouched beauty, ensuring both safety and adventure.

The tour culminates in the awe-inspiring Siem Reap, the gateway to the legendary Angkor Archaeological Park. We dedicate ample time to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site, riding our motorbikes to discover the iconic Angkor Wat, the enigmatic stone faces of Bayon Temple, and the atmospheric, tree-entwined ruins of Ta Prohm. Our routes within Angkor are carefully planned to take you beyond the main tourist paths, allowing for unique perspectives, incredible photographic opportunities, and a more intimate connection with these ancient marvels.

Throughout the 10 days, Golden Trail Travel ensures a seamless and unforgettable experience. From comfortable accommodations to delicious local cuisine, every detail is carefully managed. This "Explore Cambodia by Motorbike Tour 10 Days" is more than just a ride; it’s an immersive cultural adventure, a historical journey, and an exhilarating exploration of diverse landscapes, all from the unique vantage point of your motorbike. Day 3: Kratie to Sen Monorom
Sen Monorom is just a village, even though it’s the provincial capital of Mondulkiri.  It’s a beautiful place and home to the minority Bunong people who have an extraordinary affinity with elephants.  The last 50 km into town is just fabulous for riders; hills, bends, and beautiful scenery.  The province borders Vietnam and due to the cooler climate coffee is grown here. Distance 205 km/128 mi (6 1/2 hrs)  Meals Included Breakfast  Lunch  Accommodation Guesthouse
Day 4: Sen Monorom to Ban Lung
The capital of Ratanakiri is Ban Lung. The province borders both Laos and Vietnam and is famous for its gems and wildlife.  Ratanakiri is home to many endangered and rare species such as gibbons, clouded leopards, elephants, and sun bears. Just on the outskirts of Ban Lung is the beautiful 4000-year-old Boeung Yeak Lom (volcanic crater lake). Day 6: Preah Rumkel to Krong Preh Vihear
Krong Preah Vihear is a sleepy town. We stay at a guesthouse with a difference, because it’s run by our favorite Cambodian family. Mum and her two daughters spoil us rotten every time we go there. It’s not the fanciest guesthouse but it is the most welcoming and genuine in the whole of Cambodia.
